 COACH MUSA DAN-FODIO

 Musa Dan-Fodio is the Managing Attorney of The Dan-Fodio Law Group, P.C., where he serves as an advocate and counselor in juvenile criminal cases and family law matters.  As a trial lawyer and former Managing Attorney at Hyatt Legal Services, he has successfully represented over 90% of the case types that concern the African-American community by advising his clients on how to empower themselves by utilizing the legal system both offensively and defensively.

Musa Dan-Fodio coaches Team Georgia’s Elite 7th Grade team which has received several achievements by winning the BCI State Championship, YBOA “All Academic Team “ award, placed 6th and 10th in the YBOA Nationals, and won numerous local tournaments.

Musa Dan-Fodio is an assistant coach for Redan High School boys varsity basketball team and is certified with the Georgia High School Association as a community coach.  He served as middle school head basketball coach at W. D. Mohammed High School and with Team Georgia.  He has coached basketball, football, and baseball over the past nine (9) years with various championship youth football, baseball, and basketball programs in the counties of Dekalb and Gwinnett, Georgia.  He play high school varsity basketball and football and one year Division I NCAA basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  He currently plays basketball for the champion Fulton County Public Defenders, Atlanta Bar Association League. 

He has served on the Council of Chaplains at the Atlanta University Center where he counseled youths regarding taking the spiritual approach toward career development, relationship building, volunteerism, and community activism.

Musa Dan-Fodio received his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree at John Marshall Law School, Doctorate of International Law at Barrington University, and Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

He is currently conducting doctorate research in the area of Conflict Resolution in cooperation with the University of South Africa, Timbuktu Scholars of Peace, and the Muhammed Ali Center for Peace and Justice.  He has a working knowledge of classical Arabic, Latin, and Spanish.  His studies and work have taken him to Africa, Australia, the Middle East, the Caribbean, and Europe.  Musa Dan-Fodio embodies a spirit of service and success.
