Hawkinsville HS is expected to have a great season.  They will place three special seniors on the floor.  Brianna Colson, senior, Hawkinsville HS, came out and did a great job handling the ball and running her team while showing she can also finish.  Keirra Collier, Hawkinsville, is really aggressive.  She can play point-guard on the college level.  And Monshay Jackson, Senior, Hawkinsville, is a long range shooter.  She is the answer for colleges who need outside scoring.

West Laurens has a couple of good college prospects in seniors Brandi Haynes and April EdmondBrandi was all over the place in the Ladies Elite Camp, as she read passing lanes which led to steals.  She attacked the basket and finished.  She also did a good job of finding open teammates for assist.   And April was very crafty all day.  She is special.  She ran the floor.  She defended.  She got teammates involved.  And she took over several games.  She has a 3-point shot, and she is a prospect worth recruiting.

Ashontti Washington, senior, Osborne HS, is strong and aggressive.  She can rebound, block shots, and score effectively from mid-range on in.  She is a solid college prospect and will be a leader for Osborne High School this season.

Karisma knows how to run a team. She can also score from 3-point land.  She went toe-to-toe with  Malashia Chandler, who is a junior from Morrow High School, and also earned Elite All Tournament honors, as she scored big with the game on the line.  She attacked the basket, dished out great assist, and showed she could score from the perimeter.  Her basket sealed an exciting 1-point victory.
