9/13/08 - 6-10 Fr Ismail'a Douda has arrived in the USA from Nigeria. He is considered one of the top five young players in the world. And Douda left no doubt with the scouts that his ranking is legit Douda just earned MVP in an exposure showcase in Florida. The fans in Nigeria are celebrating as Linzy Davis has predicted that the Elite 14 from the Ejike Ugboaja Camp is a group that will contend for gold medals in the World Championships in the future.

Willie Clayton dubbed #1 in USA

9/13/08- 6'7 Fr CF Willie Clayton, Thomasville (HS) GA, has blown up this summer with the Thomasville YMCA, Thomasville HS, and Team Georgia Elite 2012 which played up against the class of 2010 and 2011. He has clearly established himself as the number one freshman in Georgia, and ranked in the top 5 in Georgia, regardless to class, and he is considered by many scouts as the number one Freshman in the USA, which is causing a frenzy as AAU club team coaches flock to Thomasville to try to persuade him to leave his current teams. And 6'8 Fr PF Robert Carter, who is a teammate of Willie Clayton and a proven #2 player in the Freshman class in Georgia is also feeling the heat from AAU club coaches. Robert Carter is drawing comparisons to former NBA players, Karl Malone and Jay Vincent. "Robert has more moves than "a Break_Dancer," and his dad was a former great college player." said Davis.

The desperate AAU club team coaches are trying every and anything to try to get Clayton on their team. And that is the best compliment you can give a player. It confirms your hard work is paying off right where you are at. Clayton is known from coast to coast, and will play overseas to build an international reputation.

9/15/08 - The best young talent in the world always goes unnoticed, but the Global Elite Basketball program is providing hope for young men around the world. 6-11 Fr CF Onyekachi Uchebo, is considered the best freshman on the planet. He can handle the ball, shoot the 3-point shot, great in post, great passer, and great defender and shot blocker. Plus he plays very hard. He plans to join his teammate Hassan Adnan, who is already in the USA, in a couple of weeks. Coach Linzy Davis is his legal guardian in the USA, and plans to help Uchebo to continue to develop academically and athletically and build on his international reputation by giving him opportunities to compete around the world as a part of the Global Elite Program. "I believe Onyekachi Uchebo and 6-7 Fr CF Willie Clayton (Thomasville, GA) are the best two players in the world and they will play with the best group of players ever assembled. TRIVIA QUESTION: What does Onyekachi (Pronounced- On-ya-ca-chi) mean? It means, "Who is greater than God." It is a special name given to Uchebo who is a walking billboard of God's glory.

Morais from Team Georgia Elite to Angola National Team

9/15/08 - Carlos Morais was hand-picked to join 11 players who were from all parts of the world including Lithuania, Poland, France, Senegal, Canada, Puerto Rico, Canary Islands, Mali, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria. Every single player received a D-1 scholarship to college or turned pro out of high school. Carlos was imported to the USA from Angola by Linzy Davis, were he continued to develop his skills under coach Davis at Community Christian School and Team Georgia Elite.

Carlos turned pro out of high school and joined the Angola National Team. Carlos competed with the Angola National Tea in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China, which competed against the USA Team led by Kobe Bryant, but it was Carlos who led his team in scoring with 24 points in the game

Jgerenaia big hit with Team Georgia Elite

6�11 WF George Jgerenaia, Tbilisi, Republic of Georgia, joined Team Georgia Elite and was a smashing success. Jgerenaia showed that his best position was wing-forward as he showed off his superior ball-handling and 3-point shooting and passing. He also attacked the basket and was a very good shot-blocker.

George Jgerenaia played with Coach Al Outlaw and Team Georgia Elite at Mississippi State University in Jeff Schneider's Big Shot Tournament and he was one of the BEST Big Men There! College coaches were ecstatic about his versatility as a 6'11" wing-forward.

Vagtang Kadaria Daviti Kordzada

Linzy Davis will import two more players from the Republic of Georgia, and a very athletic 6''7 wing-forward from Poland.

6'9 Jr PF Vagtang Kadaria, Republic of Georgia leads the way. And he will mentor 6'9 Fr PF Daviti Kordzada, Republic of Georgia, while both are in the USA in the Global Elite Program. 6'7 Jr WF Pawel Budzinski, from Poland will also show off his high flying act that is similar to the University of Arizona standout, Chase Budinger. All three players are expected in the USA by the end of September.

Davis has strong ties to the Republic of Georgia. He traveled to the country and helped conduct an Elite Basketball Camp. Linzy Davis, who also coaches the American USA Elite National Team that has produced players like Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Durant, Rudy Gay, and Shelden Williams, was featured on Republic of Georgia National TV and National Newspaper. Coach Linzy Davis has earned the respect of National Team coaches around the world, and has built a reputation as a great teacher, smart with the x's and o's, motivator, and a man who forces his players to take their game to another level.

The u16 USA Elite National Team (players born in 1992) will compete in the world championship in France, June 18 - 22, and the u19 National Team, led by 6-7 Jr WF Jordan Hamilton, Los Angeles (Dominguez) CA, will compete in Douai, France, June 25 - 29. "Both teams are in for a very special trip." said Linzy Davis, head coach.

Douai u20 World Championship#1 Tournament in the world

Coach Linzy Davis is working with a national committee of coaches to finalize the American u20 USA Elite National Team that will compete in Douai, France, June 25 - 29 08. Davis has taken USA Elite teams in various age groups from 13u to u20 and has won Five FIBA world championships. Coach Davis boast that his players get their names known in over 120 countries. And the Douai u20 World Championship draws in all of the NBA scouts who are eager to evaluate the best players in the world.

We were surprised to find http://nba.hoopchina.com following Davis around the planet. But his players were excited to see their names in Chinese even if they can't read the articles.

4/14/2007- Suwannee, GA.- Team Georgia Elite 13u 2012 team is setting a new standard of excellence with 2 AAU 13u Super Regional wins, and a 14u YBOA Riverfest win which has landed this young 13u team a YBOA 14u #1 Georgia ranking. The excitement continues as Team Georgia Elite 2012 is 2-0 in the YBOA 15u Division, which also includes a 77-50 scrimmage win over the GT 15u Stars, which featured Freshman sensation Jelan Kendricks. Team Georgia Elite 2012 team continues to buy in to the team philosophy of coach Linzy Davis, who has won four world championships in a row. The Elite 2012 team has just defeated Gainesville South Hall 15u 76-51, and coach Davis said his team didn't play very well and should have had 100 plus points. We believe the coach knows what he is talking about as this team has scored 41 points in the first quarter of an AAU Super Regional game, and also has had several 100 point plus games. "We have 11 special players who will all be playing bigtime basketball in college in the best conferences in the USA. We will also produce a record number of pros off of this team. I'm excited my son Drew is a very important piece to the puzzle with a team that has no weaknesses when they listen." said Davis... 11/7/06- Tucson, AZ- Co-leading scorers, 6'8 Fr WF Chase Budinger, MVP, Junior World Championship, Douai, Fr, and 5'9 Fr PG Nic Wise, Junior World Championship, All Tournament performer, both scored 24 points, and another USA National Team player, All Tournament performer, 6'5 Soph 2G Jawan McClellan, scored 19 points, to lead the University of Arizona to victory over Team Georgia. Linzy Davis has four players on the University of Arizona roster including 6'9 Soph PF Mohamed Tangara, who Linzy brought to the USA from Mali. Mohamed led Nike Team Georgia Elite to a final four finish at the AAU Super Showcase before losing at the buzzer to eventual champion, Nike Houston Hoops. Coach Davis predicted Carmelo Anthony would be a leading star in the NBA, and he says, Chase Budinger will be the next big star coming to the NBA. It's in the Scoop of the Day... It's Hot.
