6/27/09 - The Douai World
Tournament continues to be a proving ground for
those who desire to get to the NBA. The USA
Elite National Team, under the direction of Linzy
Davis, continues to celebrate success in
identifying young potential pro talent. Ty
Lawson, who played on the same team as Rudy
Gay and Kevin Durant, actually earned MVP
honors in the Douai World Championship, was the
first alumni picked. Tony Douglas, who
played for Team Georgia Elite and the USA
Elite National Team was the next alumni
selected. Jon Brockman, USA Elite
National Team alumni was third. Chase
Budinger, who earned MVP, while playing with
Thaddeus Young, Javaris Crittenton, Brook and
Robin Lopez, and Nick Calathes, went
forth. Nick Calathes, who earned All
Tournament honors in Douai went fifth. A.J.
Price, USA Elite National Team alumni went 6th.
And Robert Dozier, who played for Team
Georgia Elite and the USA Elite National Team
went 7th... Patrick Mills, Australia
National Team, also competed in the Douai World
Tournament.

6/26/09 - Coach Al Outlaw,
Coach Maynard, and coach Davis are preparing their
powerhouse teams for National competition in July.
And coach Linzy Davis is preparing his Elite 2012
Dream Team this weekend for National Elite
Tournaments in July as college coaches have
overwhelmed the Team Georgia coaching Elite with
recruitment request. Coach Linzy has found a
solution and has set up a screen name USAElite.
College coaches and the public can get up to the
minute results this July on Twitter.com. Just

6/24/09 - The African boys have
brought supreme power and international notoriety to
Team Georgia Elite, and coach Linzy Davis says he
has 12 more studs coming to the USA and coach Al
Outlaw and coach Maynard will be the key
benefactors.
6/18/09- Coach Maynard
continued his winning ways as he transitioned from
the Georgia Stars to Team Georgia Elite. He
has a dynamic 16u team that is dominating tournament
play this spring including winning the Memorial Day
Big Shots Tournament. Coach Maynard tells us

6/16/09 - The Ejike Ugboaja
Camp produced the best players in the world led by
sophomore sensations, Onyekachi Uchebo, Ismaila
Douda, Robert Ojeah, and Abduwali Kasim. The
Ejike Ugboaja Camp will be held in Zaria, Nigeria,

Davis missing with USA Elite,
Canada wins Douai World Championship
6/15/09 - Coach Davis had business obligations
that prevented him from bringing a special USA Elite
Team to Douai, but, he will bring the USA Elite
National Team to Abuja, Nigeria, Labor Day weekend
to compete in the Global Elite Outreach World
Championship, which will include the top national
teams. A special Elite Skills Camp will be
conducted before the world tournament which will
include a coaches clinic and elite player
development.
Y2k Sports USA All American,
under the direction of Darren Matsubura and coached
by Ed Schilling, former New Jersey Nets assistant
coach, represented the USA. The USA got off to
a slow 0-3 start, but finished strong with two
impressive wins over Canada and France.
The tournament was filled with
parity among teams. Canada finished first and
were without two of their starters who played with
Y2k Sports USA, Corey Joseph, and Tristan Thompson.

and Peach State

- College coaches want to know where Team
Georgia Elite will be this July and we have the
information. Team Georgia Elite 2012 Dream
Team will attend the Port City Classic at the
College of Charleston, July 6 - 8, and then will
travel to Augusta, GA to play in the Peach State.
The team will compete up in the 16u division.
Then Team Georgia Elite will travel to Orlando to
compete in the 15u AAU Super Showcase and the 16u
AAU National Championship.
Coach Davis will evaluate top junior college players
in the nation at Peach State Showcase to select a
22u USA Elite National Team that will compete in the
World Championship, Tourcoing, France, in April
2010.

5/22/09- The 15u Team Georgia
Elite 2012 Dream Team dominated the 16u AAU State
with an average margin of victory of 29 points.
Coach Al Outlaw had mixed feelings after the
championship showdown between the 15u & 16u teams
competed for the championship which was won by the
15u team. "I was proud of the 15u team and I
was proud of our guys also. We were 6 - 0
going into the championship game against our 15u
team. Our guys fought hard to get to the
championship." said Outlaw.

avenged their only loss of the season to 16u Georgia
Impact 58 - 35. But what made the victory more
special is the freshmen group did it without two
starters, 6'7 Willie Clayton and 6'10
Ismaila Douda. Both will play in the AAU
15u state tournament next weekend in Atlanta.
Team Georgia Elite also defeated Atlanta Select
Black 79-59, and Georgia Fastbreak 77-55 in route to
the championship win over Middle Georgia Bucks. More

USA Elite got off to a very slow start and trailed

out to a surprising 27 - 20 lead by the end of the
first quarter, but 6'9 William Coleman,
picked up his second foul with 2 minutes remaining

the second quarter, and Serbia took full advantage
of their size and strength.

for World Tournament in France
Paris, France-4/2/09- USA Elite 22u Team coach
Linzy Davis, will go for FIBA world tournament
championship number six, and his team will feature
some of the top college players in the nation.
Coach Davis has assembled future NBA prospects to
compete on the world stage in Tourcoing, France.

competing against teams with players who have 4 to 8
years of FIBA pro experience." said Davis.
"That will be a big mental challenge for us and I
have been in this position before and it wasn't
pretty. Our guys will have to adjust quickly

culture. But in the end, we will have to be
close and on one accord to get the job done.
We have a talented team with future NBA prospects
who will mentor our future elite players at the same
time. It will be an exciting experience for
all involved."
Davis will
release the roster April 7th to the public when the
team boards their flight to Paris, France.

Georgia Elite 2012 Dream Team decided to play up in
the 16u AAU Super Regional. The results have
been astounding as Team Georgia Elite has blown pass
the Southern Kings 16u team 85 - 71 and South
Carolina Panthers 16u team 90 -53 "The most exciting
thing I like about this team is the character of
each individual. All of these young men are
honor roll students and model students." said Coach
Linzy Davis.

Georgia Elite 2012 Dream Team has a long way to go
according to 5-time World Champion USA Elite
National Team coach Linzy Davis, but the coach says
his team is on the right track. "It is the
most talented young team I've ever seen, yet they
have a long way to go and a lot to learn." said
Davis.

Half of
the players competing with Team Georgia Elite 2012
Dream Team were competing for a state championship
for their respective high schools. 6'10 Fr
Center Ismail'a Douda, who has committed to the
University of Miami, watch his teammates from the
sideline. But it didn't matter, because Team
Georgia Elite proved that they are the team to beat
in the class of 2012 as they came away with a Super
Regional title with six players. They won the
Super Regional competing with four against five
players because two players fouled out with seven
minutes remaining in the championship game which was
won by Team Georgia (4-0.)
"We haven't had one practice
and we were missing the number one player in
Georgia, 6'7 Fr WF Willie Clayton." said
Coach Davis
But teams around the USA better get in shape
because when we get our team together in two weeks
for the Southern Shootout, we are shooting for 120
points every game, or a clock mercy rule. We
have 10 future pros on this team."

Willie Clayton earns Region Player of the Year

Coach Tillman, varsity head coach, Thomasville HS,
has guided his team to a 65 - 35, win over Charlton
County. The top freshman in the USA, 6-7
Willie Clayton, led all scores with 20 points
and a game high 19 rebounds.
Willie Clayton also learned that he just
earned Region Player of the Year. And the
college coaches are predicting that Willie
Clayton will earn First Team All State if
Thomasville can continue winning in the state
tournament.
"He is the best Freshman in the USA." said Al
Outlaw. "That's why he has earned a spot on
the American USA Elite National Team. He may
be the best athlete in America. He runs, runs,
runs, and plays harder than anyone you will ever see
on the court. He has a great future ahead of
him as long as he remains humble, keeps his
priorities in order, and continues to work hard
academically and athletically."
Team Georgia adds 2 elites from Ivory Coast

2/28/09- Coach Linzy Davis, added French
flavor again as two players from Ivory Coast, are
joining Team Georgia Elite. Hot shooting athletic
6'7 Jr WF Barnard Morena, and 6'10 Soph Willy
Kouassi, will join Team Georgia Elite, March 6,
2009, in an AAU Super Regional, held in the Atlanta,
GA, area.
"We really like coach Linzy already." said Willy
Kouassi. "He speaks French fluently, and
he a great coach. Its an honor for us to play
for him and coach Al Outlaw. We have a special
team of players. This is a chance of a
lifetime for us."

2/27/09- Coach Linzy Davis, has 5 world titles
under his belt. He will go for number six in
April, as the American 22u USA Elite National Team,
will compete in the 20th World Championship,
Tourcoing, France. Davis will compete in the
19u World Championship, Douai, France. "We are
carefully working with college coaches to select our
teams." said Davis.

Linzy Davis, 6-9 Fr Robert Ojeah, Al Outlaw, Gerald Alford,
6-10 Fr Ismail'a Douda (verbally committed to
University of Miami), Greg Brown, Weldon
2/26/09- Coach Al Outlaw says, Team Georgia is ready
for the Southern Shootout. The junior class is
deep with the addition of coach Gerald Alford, who
won the 17u AAU State in 2008. Coach Outlaw
will take the Junior class and sophomore class.
The sophomore class returns 6'5 PG Mark Brown,
who has committed to Florida State. And he
will have plenty of help including 6'7 Paul Sati,
6'10 Gideon Oji, 6'4 Bashir Balarabe, and 6'0 Hassan
Adnan. The Freshmen class will be coached
by Linzy Davis, who says he has put together the
best team in the history of AAU basketball.
Davis says he has the best two players on the planet
in 6'11 Joseph Uchebo and 6'7 Willie Clayton.
He says the rest of the cast are very special high
D-1 prospects which include 6'10 Ismail'a Douda,
6'9 Robert Ojeah, 6'7 Abdul Kasim, 6'4 Stanton
Davis, 6'0 Keenan Palmore, 6'1 DJ Brown, and 5'7 Drew Davis. "This team will
travel internationally." said Davis. "We
believe every player on this team has the potential
to play professionally and we want them to get
international exposure early so they can all keep
their options open as they continue to learn and
grow as student athletes."
Ismail'a Douda commits to the University of Miami

2/25/09- 6'10 Fr C Ismail's Douda verbally committed
to the University of Miami. He is one of the
Super Elite players from Nigeria that Linzy Davis
and Greg Brown, imported into the USA.
Ismail'a will play for Davis, who contends he
has the best team in the history of AAU basketball.
"Every player on our team has the potential to play
professionally in the future. This team is
hand-picked, and they will receive the best training
in the world. They will also compete
internationally to develop their character and
reputation." said Davis. "College coaches are
going to find out quickly that they have never seen
a group of players assembled on one team with elite
skills and talent."
Douda can score out to 3-point range.
He is a great shot blocker and rebounder. He
can also dominate inside. Davis plans to
expand his game with ball-handling and passing.
"Every player on our team will master all the skill
sets to become very successful in the future." said
Davis. "Its not negotiable."
